$80 for all 4 classes. GST included.
Can’t make all 4 classes? You are welcome to drop-in for $20 a class. Cash or etransfer.
What is Qigong?
The 4,000-year-old traditional practice of Qigong –Qi (vital energy) Gong (skill cultivated through steady practice) – gives you the tools you need to balance your inner and outer worlds. The smooth, beautiful combination of movement, meditation, breath and sometimes sound, is a powerful tool for you to reclaim or expand your health. It’s moving meditation that puts well-being back in your hands.
Enjoy this in-person practice in the lovely community of Dalhousie, NW Calgary.
This practice is suitable for most participants.
- We begin with a joint-opening series to promote circulation, lymphatic function and remove stagnant energy from the body.
- Cupping and bouncing is intended to open the body’s energy channels, promote better circulation, break up dense tissue and increase oxygen.
- The core Qigong movement series connects body with breath, further promoting states of rest and digest, balance and overall health.
Qigong is used to improve balance, flexibility, strength, sleep, mood, circulation, stress-reduction and enhanced mental clarity. This is a light-hearted and enjoyable class. I look forward to playing Qigong with you!

For more than 25 years, I have created classes, retreats, courses and programs to address the unique and specific physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of women at various stages of their lives. Whether through outdoor yoga and fitness programs, women’s meditation circles or community Qigong classes, I’ve supported women in achieving their wellness goals, empowering their health and connecting with community.
While I began practicing Qigong over 15 years ago for my spine, once menopause arrived, along with a diagnosis of an autoimmune condition that affects women, I deepened my practice, finding it more valuable than ever for sleep, pain management, vitality, calming my mind and body, centering myself, and self-love.
I began studying with advanced Qigong teacher Daisy Lee, certifying in Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong. I’ve also studied with Grandmaster Chunyi Lin and Grandmaster Mantak Chia. I continue to learn from these devoted teachers.
Finding practices designed for breast health, vulva health, addressing and releasing grief, setting boundaries, boosting your life force energy, and cultivating joy -practices that nourish the unique needs of women- this excites me. Sharing these practices and hearing how they are of benefit… this is why I’m here.
