Move, breathe, invigorate & restore in an inspiring space
Enjoy a guided Qigong practice focused on the liver and gallbladder channels to promote good health this spring. This session is accessible, gentle, and adaptable, making it suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
Spring is around the corner and is associated with the Wood element. This is the season of caring for the liver and gallbladder channels to promote emotional and tendon health.
In this session, we will enjoy some of your favourite movements, and some special ones for the liver and gallbladder channels to release any stagnant energy from the winter season and promote renewal in the body and balance in the emotions!
“Liver and Gallbladder meridians govern spring’s Wood element. Liver also governs the sinews. A healthy Wood energy allows for strong yet supple sinews, a flexible tenacity that allows the bamboo-like resilience of our bodies and spirits to bounce back after being pummelled by the slings and arrows of daily life.”

What is Qigong?
The 4,000-year-old traditional practice of Qigong –Qi (vital energy) Gong (skill cultivated through steady practice) – gives you the tools you need to balance your inner and outer worlds. The smooth, beautiful combination of movement, meditation, breath and sometimes sound, is a powerful tool for you to reclaim or expand your health. It’s moving meditation that puts well-being back in your hands — a perfect way to set the tone for the year ahead.
Enjoy this in-person practice at the Cochrane Ranchehouse.
No experience is needed — just a willingness to move, breathe, and arrive.
This practice is suitable for most participants. If in doubt, please contact Stephanie.
🌸 We begin with a joint-opening series to promote circulation, lymphatic function and remove stagnant energy from the body.
🌸 Cupping and bouncing is intended to open the body’s energy channels, promote better circulation, break up dense tissue and increase oxygen and energy.
🌸 The core Qigong movement series connects body with breath, further promoting states of rest and digest, balance and overall health.
Qigong is used to improve balance, flexibility, strength, sleep, mood, circulation, stress-reduction and enhanced mental clarity. This is a light-hearted and enjoyable class. I look forward to playing Qigong with you!
It’s worth it just to come for the Qigonga line! (You’ll find out soon enough).
Don’t miss the early bird rate until March 5th!
Can’t make the in-person class? Join me for women’s online programs.
For over 25 years, I’ve created classes, retreats, and community programs—outdoor yoga and fitness, women’s meditation circles, and Qigong workshops—supporting people to achieve wellness goals, nurture their health, and connect with community.
I began practicing Qigong over 15 years ago for my spine. When menopause arrived, along with an autoimmune diagnosis, I deepened my practice, discovering its profound value for sleep, pain management, vitality, nervous system regulation, and self-love.
I’ve studied with advanced teachers including Daisy Lee (Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong), Grandmaster Chunyi Lin, and Grandmaster Mantak Chia — and continue learning from these devoted guides.
Sharing practices that support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, help release grief, boost life-force energy, set boundaries, and cultivate joy—this is why I do this work.
Enjoy the practice of Showering Qi:
From the online course: Qigong for Menopause. Designed to calm rising energies (think: hot flashes, anxiety, monkey mind, blood pressure…) and shower off any excess energy from your day. Ready to feel restored? Press play and enjoy.
Join me this March in Cochrane and let’s play Qigong!
